Une résine Otto sans ouverture, fidèle à la silhouette FD
La résine coulée par Otto tient des lignes de caisse fluides sur les formes très arrondies de la RX-7 FD, un exercice où le diecast atteint plus difficilement une telle continuité de surface. La carrosserie reste fixe, sans portières mobiles, ce qui reporte toute l'attention sur les phares rétractables, le becquet arrière propre à cette édition et la teinte jaune vif dont la saturation se juge le mieux sous un éclairage direct. Plus légère en main qu'un diecast équivalent, cette résine reste cohérente avec les courbes délicates d'origine.
